Last few fights gone under the radar but made a statement in Denmark at the weekend.

Easy to pick holes, but, only had a few weeks notice and was meant to get beat - cracking fight, showed a lot of heart in first round and peach of a right hand to finish. Thoughts?

Fair play to him going aboard to fight an unbeaten fighter. I believe his with Steve wood now so hopefully his more active as that's been a issue in his career to date. Will b interesting to see if he goes back down super feather or stays at lightweight

I started a thread about 6 months ago talking about his return to the ring, and got slated for saying he'd beat scott cardle. Another decent win against a domestic opponent and he could be challenging for the lonsdale belt

Good win great knockout, had 3 weeks for that fight however boxed 2 weeks before this fight and that one had been down on boxrec for 6 weeks so he was fully fit with a full camp, that's not to detract from a very impressive win but any holes weren't due to short notice. He looked huge compared to that lad so can only see him continuing at lightweight no see super feather again

He weighed in at 9st 7lb. So he won't b massive on fight night at lightweight with 24hrs b4 weigh-in . I agree regards to Cardle but if that don't happen I'd like to see him v ward at super feather

He was 148lb v a journeyman 2 weeks ago I actually wondered if board would question the weight loss. I may be wrong fairly sure he move up as said couldn't make super feather and suggested stoppage in second Walsh fight was due to that

Yeah i saw that he was 10st 8lbs in pervious fight. I was shocked how he made feather. Was at a weigh-in a few years back murray v Blackwell he looked awful on the scales.

I've not seen him in person but he seems a fair size. John was a big strong lightweight and seems bigger than him although different body shape, an interesting addition to lightweight around British level

Brilliant! Great to see from Murray. His quality was coming through in the 5th and 6th.

They need to sort out those loose ring ropes
