Has anyone heard any news about him lately? His last fight the KO loss to Beterbiev was June 18th and there's not even been rumors of him fighting again. There's still some fights to be made at 175 for a guy who hits that hard but I wonder if that loss has taken the starch out of him.
I think the Beterbiev loss combined with his previous losses to Barrera and Bivol have shown him his ceiling. He is still in the phase where he is fighting himself about whether or not he accepts it. It's a hard truth when you give everything you've got and come up short repeatedly. Especially in this sport. Boxing is a cruel mistress.
