Joe "The Terminator" Calzaghe??

    I have been watching a few of Joe Calzaghe's earlier fights and was just interested to know when dropped the nickname "The Terminator"

    Cos he become the Pride of Wales instead.

    Perhaps he was no longer stopping people, and wanted to appeal to the general Welsh public more. Does he regret these defences at the ice rink? when he should have been P4P in the USA much earlier?

    I think it was the Italian dragon (mixture of Wales and Italy). He's also been known at various times as the White Destroyer and the Pride of Wales!!

    :patsch There is no need to be Pedantic.

    The CIA, Ice Rink, Castle, and Millenium stadium are all within 10 minutes walk of each other.

    CIA and Ice Rink versus Las Vegas and MSG was the point I was trying to make. The millions should have come earlier in his career. Some think these fights are coming too late now.

    Im sure it does get to him...but who was he supposed to fight?

    2000-2004 Hopkins was busy unifiing the middleweight division and then just waited on DLH. Wasnt interested in Joe.

    Ottke was the other big fish at SMW but wasnt interested...

    Respect to Jeff Lacy for having the balls to step up.
