Thought he was excellent last night on commentary. He called it as it was, he didnt make any excuses for Enzo (his co-commentator) he was bang on the money. Also, he really does some excellent research into the backstory of all of the fighters on the under card.

He doesnt try to sell the viewer short with loads of boxrec analysis and rubbish cliches. If I were to compare him with some like Nick Halling, he takes Halling to school every day. Another thing, Rawling is a very good boxing writer, I have been reading some of his earlier work in the broadsheets - a straight talker.

    Muchos kudos to Rawling.:good

I hate the way he says ' Hes looking a little disorganised now!' instead of just saying a fighter is hurt, but other than that, yeah hes a solid commentator:yep

I think the whole team did well in the main event. No excuses for enzo, they said he probably would've lost in the first and that it was a shambles. Congratulated him on his victory but didn't pretend he should do anything other than retire.

But he's just not sexy though is he?! He's competent, but doesn't have that wow factor.

Excellent research on the fighters? I agree entirely.
