john would school him badly, juarez is a good inside fighter gamboas shown me nothing in this department, all gamboa has is hand speed, overrated power, poor balance and an average chin he looks good ko'ing bums like walter estrada but when he fights any one remotely game his flaws are there for the world to see
Pffft, Chris John stood up to 12 rounds of punishment from a puncher like Rocky Juarez. Gamboa hasn't been KOing anything but bums, and his flaws in defense and chin would be exposed badly by a world class fighter such as Chris John John by 5th round KO.
John is too tall and throws too often and moves too much for Gamboa. I think Juarez's defense looks elite compared to Gamboas.
Gamboa's speed would give him a lot of things to think about, it would be interesting but I see John getting rocked and stunned and then finished. The longer the fight goes the more chance of John being knocked out, he wasn't consistent in the last 4 rounds last night.
