Is there any other champion who has been as dominant as he has against the kind of opposition hes fought? That being said I think Gustaffson is a good match for him. If Jones takes this one he definitely has my vote for p4p king.
Jon Jones is a heavyweight that has fought blown up middleweights Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort and Chael Sonnen in his last 3 fights, so I would have to give the #1 P4P to GSP as he faced Shields, Condit and Diaz, who could all fight at 185 comfortably.
Anderson Silva. Jones has rarely lost a minute of any of his UFC fights. I'd say Anderson's dominance is still the most impressive. A lot of people downplay Anderson's opposition, and I don't know why. Anderson finished Belfort, Sonnen X2 and Henderson. Everyone else aside, finishing those 3, at the times he did and in the manner he did is amazing.

Who did Anderson Avoid? He's fought every single person asked of him. He's also the only one of the 3 (GSP, Anderson, Jones), who moved up a weightclass to fight when asked (3 X's). He's also the only one of the 3 that doesn't have challengers from lower weightclasses on his title reign legacy. He has fought the best Middleweight has had to offer, along with 3 LHW's, one former LHW champ. :deal
Jones I believe is the most dominant UFC champ I have ever seen. The UFC LHW is stacked with really good tough opposition, but Jones just went through them like they were bums. I mean these guys are no jokes at all: Ruas Evans Machida Rampage Belfort Anderson Silva struggled with Sonnen big time and Sonnen didn't last a round against Jones. If Silva somehow went up to challenge Jones, I can see Jones taking him down with ease and rain elbows on him, stopping him in 1 or 2 rounds as well. I don't know if many of you people here were already born when Mark Coleman dominated the UFC. At that time, he was plowing through everyone thought to be great fighters like Frye and Severn. He was thought to have no weakness. When Smith beat him, it was a huge upset. Looking back now he didn't seem that great but at that time, it was hard to pick against him.

Both Anderson and Jones have been fighting the same people except Anderson beat them quicker and in a more spectacular way. 205 is a **** division just like 185, the last 3 #1 contenders have been blown up middleweights. a 2011 Rampage managed to become the #1 contender 185 >> 205 in my books
Close fight. Jones won 3-2, but only because he did significant damage in the 4th to take the round (which he had been behind in to that point). I'd be interested in seeing a rematch. I also find it funny that posters on many MMA boards are bashing Jones now, as if they've learned nothing about this sport. It's not boxing. Good fighters lose and struggle and all that. They're still good fighters. Hell, Matt Serra knocked GSP out once, and GSP is one of the P4P best of all time. Anderson Silva didn't always look great in his title defenses, either. Good, tough fight for Jones. They say in sports you need a tough fight/game/match to bring out the best, so I think this will be good in the long run for both the UFC and Jones. I can't wait to see those two go at it again.
I don't watch enough MMA, but when you have a 49-46 card, it seems something is off. The Swede, landed much cleaner better shots for the first 3 rounds.
Still think its wrong? Jones proved tonight that he's all height and reach and can't do the same against people of similar size.
