Have we got any coverage tomorrow?

Fight time will be about now won't it?

    That'll be strange.

Will it be Wednesday or Thursday it actually shows in the UK?

  3. What's even stranger is the fact that they'll be fighting completely upside down too.

Australia are about 10 hours in front I think so it'll be happening about this time tomorrow.

Not sure if we've got any coverage in the UK though.

    Don't think we have.

From what I can see it's starting at 2am EST. So it'll be 8am our time, although if the 2am start is allowing for an undercard then yeah about the time of the original post.

  7. Good point.

Jones has looked dreeadful since fighting Tarver the first time. He never looks like he's turned back the clock unless his opponent's more shot, or more useless, than he is now.

Unless Green's completely diminished himself, he'll probably catch Jones late on and that'll scupper the Jones/Hopkins rematch.

Which is a worthless fight as well, because Jones is shot, and Hopkins is still effective (long as he doesn't get old overnight). Can only end badly for Jones.

Even a prime Green would struggle like **** to beat the current version of Jones so I still pick Jr to win by boring UD.

Yeah, possibly. Green lost to Mundine, right?

  11. Green is a live opponent. Jones Jr is on something of a surge at the moment, he destroyed Lacy last time out. You can argue that Lacy is a spent force but the manner in which Jones Jr destroyed him was impressive.

I hope Green wins cos i dont wanna see HBO waste its budget on Jones Jnr vs hopkins fight

  13. I do though to be honest, even now, Jones Hopkins II is something I'd like to see. Neither are SHOT shot. Still a tough one to call.

I actually WANT to see Hopkins retiring at Heavywight too, I mean, why not? If he's crazy enough to beef up at 72 years of age, then go for it I say.

I do not want to see Hopkins kill boxing anymore. He should retire.

  15. I'm with you. It's still an interesting and legitimate fight at this point. Both fighters proved in their last fights that they are still in the game. Both need to win their next fights though.
