Bad matchup for Rampage but ofc Jones is White's new cash cow and feeding 'page to him is a sure fire way to make him look better!

I think its called www.ufc.com. You know the street where there's a video player of the post-fight conference where White says Jackson will probably fight Jones next if his hand is up to it.

To me I kinda suspect they'll wait until August before announcing anything. See if Evans beats Davis and feels like fighting again shortly after. If he is then they'll just go with that, after all with Velasquez scheduled to headline in October they don't need a light heavyweight title fight until November.

Jackson has lost the killer instinct. He's turned soft IMO, another day in the office mentality. After every fight, he has an excuse and/or seems ok with saying he whooped my ass. Although I would like him to cold stop the Jones train, I don't see it happening. However it will be interesting to see if he could land one good meaningful punch and what Jones' reaction will be.

After 40 fights, and being a week shy of 33, does Rampage have enough left? Jackson's strength, take down defense, chin, and boxing skill make his a quality match-up for Jones if Rampage shows up well prepared.

According to Dana, it's Rampage next if his hand is okay, if not it's Machida.

Jones has better striking than rampage, and is more techniqually capable with his array of kicks, unorthodox striking, elbows, knees, and wrestling capabilities. Rampage whether he likes it or not in the UFC is a 1 dimensional fighter his takedown defense has really improved since his fight with rashad however jon jones does not have to rely on his wrestling abilities to beat rampage. Rampage has devasting strikes and his boxing looked phenomenal against matt hamill as his accuracy was sick. Rampage tagged matt everytime matt came in to bang and shoot, the only way rampage is going to beat jon jones is by a miracle, Jon jones is in short just a better overall fighter than rampage.

this will be the fight that jones has to prove he has a chin. rampage is going to land a few bombs. outside a ko its jones but rampage has a very good chance to stop jones early.
