I read about this earlier today.Sulaiman is a true piece of **** and a leech on the sport.It's a shame the WBC is held so highly in regard compared to other Belts but is run by probably the most crooked President out of all of them.I mean yea, all the stupid interim belts are a drag but he's thrown his hat into the ring with his stupid silver belt. He tried to strip the WBC JWW champ for trying to UNIFY,and now he wants to strip Vazquez of an HONORARY TITLE because he didn't want to pay for some stupid,meaningless belt in what really should be his last fight?**** that guy.He's like a half friend who gives you something insignificant and then when you disagree he demands to have it back.

It was. (I guess because it has the history behind it.)

- but I seriously believe this is the beginning of the end. Perception of the fans is more important than hype, in the end.

Problem is, if everyone decides that the WBC is irrelevant, then what organization takes it's place? A few years ago I might have said Ring mag, but no these days.

This would be a very good time for some rich/ connected guy to start a new boxing organization. Imagine the Klitschkos doing this, by making a deal with Showtime. They might actually change things for the better.
