Did you think Taylor was guilty of a few rabbit punches last night? I know AAA was describing them in commentary as "just behind the ear" but to me some were behind the head. Taylor was beating him easy and looks the real deal but foul shots are foul shots. I'm sure that's what Campos was complaining about last knockdown.
Nah. The first knockdown, first shot was a long left hand I think & Campos ducked & turned so landed behind head & follow up shot was behind the ear. The final knockdown, no punches landed. Taylor just angled off when Campos ducked and Campos looked lost & took a knee, he complained but nothing landed & he was ducking & turning in to them. However, I have seen Taylor play rough and throw some rabbit punches, not afraid to test the referee's observation in past fights but honestly, I didn't see a lot last night. Campos just didn't want to be there.
I would have a crack at Indongo now - that fight would sell very well giving the poking dished out to Burns
Taylor v Indongo (win or lose his next fight) would be a fight the fans would support big time. After that test he is ready to collect belts.
Taylor would box him all night stop him late wouod love to see this but still think next logic step be a crolla or burns type opponent he is only 12 fights in even though I think he is ready now world title mcgugaisn will want him build build his profile as he could be huge and there big star name for the time being they won't rush him too quickly so doubt indongo next tbh even tho think he would handle him. Honestly one most exciting prospects have seen think can only get better and he is likeable
Broner fight would be perfect for Taylor. American exposure, top 10 opponent and a fight he should easily win.
Cyclone would have to spend all their VAT money on something other than their partners if they were to afford Broner.
If there was a WBSS for the super-lightweight division, which 8 fighters would use like to see involved?
