Burns only recently moved down from 140 to 135 recently, for a fight with Crolla. It's not like he can't go back up to 140 and cash out against Taylor if the payday is good for him.
I reckon Josh stops him, body shots though. Ricky all been tough and great chin but Taylor southpaw stance and Burns nothing to keep him off. It would be a massacre.
It would yeah, not only that I just think it’s a bitter pill to swallow. The king of Scottish boxing being dethroned by someone he sees as a kid. Some may see it as a passing the torch but for others it’s difficult especially since Eicky has reigned so long north of the border.
And that is understandable but as Taylor said, Ricky was given opportunity by Alex Arthur. And Ricky was more than happy to say he thought OD would win & by stoppage but that he would be open to the fight if Taylor won, that quickly changed once Taylor outclassed OD. Doesn't really matter I suppose, Ricky will get some decent fights at 135 & has his legacy. Taylor gets the opportunity to create his own, with his own path.
Good list on a purely boxing measure but if I was promoting it I would find room for Broner and / or Ohara Davies - revenge angles versus Garcia and Taylor respectively, and with Broner the weigh-ins would be as must-see as the fights!
You right about that Terry is like brook he was a big light weight but will give that away at light welter but he shouldn't have a problem beating hooker because his trash but imo Terry just seems to be a one pace fighter where Taylor can really up the levels when he needs to

Flanagan will be kept away from Taylor by Frank. He's only planning in house world title fights, if Flanaghan wins he fights Catterral. Selby v Warrington winner fighting Frampton. Won't let his fighters fight tough ooponents unless it's for massive massive money for all concerned look at Flanagans fight resume compared to Crollas at lightweight ? And look at way he was steered away from Linares fight.
