Agreed, I'd take issue if Taylor vs Prograis was announced.

Prograis is hardly more experienced. Taylor more amateur fights and with exception of the name of Indongo, Taylor has faced at least as good opposition.

    What would the issue be?

The issue would be that he can afford to fight once or twice more at world level and gain some seasoning before taking a big risk against a fighter who looks very dangerous.

If he's better than Prograis, he'll still be better than him a year from now. If he isn't, then a couple more fights at a decent level will do nothing but help the cause.

Good reply and makes sense. Taylor almost 2 years younger, I think he has a higher ceiling so they have time.

For what it’s worth, I think it’ll be next year before he fights for title so depending on opposition and rounds, he could have 2-3 more fights this year.

That’s all experience. Just watched Garcia-Lipinets, Sergey is a good fighter. Lacked a little experience tonight for Garcia, point well made.
