some great talent from Edinburgh coming through and these 3 could be the best of the bunch.

lee mcgregor has impressed me every time I've seen him amateur,

Jason Easton really has shone since going pro and after josh Taylor could easy be teh next best light welter prospect in Britain

and josh Taylor really looks teh real deal, all of the training he got with team gb gave him a great start and he really seems to be gelling with Shane mcguigan.

big things ahead for the east coast in 2018

Taylor could go all the way, has the talent for sure.

Very impressed with McGregor, great to watch.

Easton is entertaining but he will get caught out as he moves through the levels. Good luck to him though, he has done very well.

Brilliant again from Taylor. Different type of performance to the Davies one, but showed real class and composure in there!

Up there with AJ as the best in Britain now?

Good job by Taylor tonight, got the job done. He has an abundance of quality.

Vasquez was a tricky opponent, a wily veteran. He can't punch and is really a lightweight, that made a huge difference.

Brilliant matchmaking though. Taylor looking like a world beater.

loads of idiots on twitter saying Taylor should be on Sky/matchroom and he would be huge etc.

utter nonsense! unless you AJ, have an Olympic medal or dads named Nigel you are an after thought with Matchroom. if Taylor had went with Matchroom he wouldn't have had any of the fights he has had, wouldn't be headlining his own shows and would have an record of 10-0 against absolute bums.

Cyclone are doing an amazing job with Josh. Look at Joe Cordina, hes lost in all the matchroom hype. he fought in his home town on the AJ/Takam fight (sure he sold 400 tickets but might be making that up) and his fight isnt even on TV, BECAUSE the presenters where talking nonsesne and hyping up AJ as his fight was on.

this isn't an anti Matchroom thread, but not the place for Taylor to be.

But if it was all about protecting a fighter surely they wouldn't of put Ohara in that fight.

Bellew maybe that but you can't deny going to matchroom changed his life big time.

As I said im not anti matchroom. Taylor would have been loat under all the Olympic medalists and Aj. There's a good argument that matchroom has mismanaged its prospects and focussed to much on AJ.

Taylor wouldn't even be on the matchroom PPV cards at this point and wouldnt have fought anyone yet.
