He didn't look very good, tbh, and his swarming style led to his downfall. His opponent met him halfway and busted both his eyes up.

He wasn't hurt at all, but it's back to the drawing board though.

What, so he was stopped on cuts, or he stopped throwing back?

the swelling was so bad on his right eye they had to stop it, i mean it was almost completely closed after 3 rounds and this fight was scheduled for 8 so the corner pulled him out - was the correct decision.

Ooooh, sounds like a British Gatti/Katsidis lol. Oh, well, I guess it is indeed back to the drawing board, as long as he hasn't been 'exposed' or anything. I guess he could have a rematch with this guy next, that would be a priority? Or did he look out of his depth?

Still, a shame they didn't show Maguire's debut.

He was retired on his stool (after 3 rounds, I think) with one eye cut and the other eye badly swollen. Sensible retirement, although Wale wasn't happy at all.
If it wasn't for the injuries it would have been a good fight, but the result was about right.

no wale was winning the fight he was just a bit too gung-ho, didnt show much skill and then he got the damaged eye, so a rematch should be the priority because he would be fully expected to win.

It was far from a Prescott moment, but he did look like he was lacking some ringcraft.

wale was winning the fight easy...he was doing good...i would say bad luck to get swollen eye and , to me, not really a bad cut over the other eye...
i would have let him try another round...
very hard luck for wale...unbeaten record gone in a cruel way for him...hope he gets a rematch soon...he'd win it i'm sure...

wasn't impressed by wale at all. very basic. he was winning the fight on workrate but if ramgoadi can do that to his face with a few counters hes going to struggle unless he learns how to box.

Wale fought like a complete dickhead and did the exact opposite to what he usually does. Very disapointed with how he decided to win the fight. He is still a decent prospect but I doubt anyone expected him to be anything more than a domestic contender.
