Josh warrington unbeaten english champ and new commonwealth featherweight champ 16-0. Holds 2 wins over unbeaten fighters (male and samir) as the away fighter.

Thought he boxed to a good plan last night picked his shots and upped the pace at the time samir started to blow fantastic performance. Was shocked the bookies had him at 9-2 to win. Was a good 50-50 fight fair play to both lads.

    Thoughts ....

Warrington did a great job last night covered up well from Samir's wild shots early & picked him off with some clean, crisp combinations.

Good entertainment from both fighters wouldn't mind seeing them do it again at some point.

Didn't know either of them before the fight but really enjoyed it. Warrington boxed well.

People r carried away with that it was a 4 round fight and selby was ill. Samir was offered a rematch turned it down then turned down his mandaotry postitoon to avoid selby.

Warrington looked really good to be honest and I am really surprised that Warrington's first stoppage cause he drove forward well and had a decent array of shots. He sat down well on his punches. Now though it depends on what route he wants to go. If Selby does relinquish the championships like I believe he will. The maybe Walsh v Warrington for the vacant British would be a good match up
