Josh Warrington has a shot at the Featherweight European title on Matchrooms Leeds Show on October 4th.

Seems to me Fast Eddie thinks alot of Josh and wants to build something in Leeds with him.

I can see a Warrington v Selby fight within the next 12 months.

Leeds supporters are fanatics and will really get behind him. They did good numbers on that midweek show in Leeds on short notice so i don't doubt with an alright under card they could sell out Leeds arena with Euro level fights. Leeds hasn't produced many big name fighters in recent years so there hasn't been any big nights there but there is definitely a big market for it. There's a few amateur clubs that are producing good fighters, as well as Nicola Adams doing so well, boxing is on the up in the area. West Yorkshire is an area similar in size to Greater Manchester with no big name fighters, compared to say Liverpool with so many, people will get behind shows and fighters and as people like Jack Bateson turn pro, they could have a huge following.

Quality fighter shocked tho they moved him to euro level already. Some good domestic fights for him in walsh and simpson but if the chance is there fair play and its a very winnable fight.

Neither of them really have any profile and are too risky to take imo

Maybe they are saving the domestic fights for after they have the European title to make them a bit bigger.
