Joshua/Klitschko Undercard

The greedy ****er knows people will buy the ppv because they want to see the main event so he can get away with putting absolute garbage on the undercard.

 

Yep it'll just be the same sort of names we see on standard O2 London cards. Katie Taylor, a team GB prospect, Conor Benn etc..

 

Honestly? I'm up for this main event. I don't need any padding to fill it out. A all time great v biggest boxer in the UK is enough for me.

 

K2 events usually have terribly weak undercards because RTL usually only show the Klitschko fight- fine if you are in Germany/Europe watching for free, less so if you are in the UK plonking down seventeen quid.

 

Does anyone actually have any interest in Conor benn or Katie Taylor or woman boxing in general. Hearn would get praise if put on a decent undercard not asking for world but decent scraps 50-50 fights entertaining fights tbh. if he spends more on it have more viewer after how poor haye vs bellew it put ppl off buying Ppv wen undercard so boring and poor

 

I'd have more interest in Connor Benn if he was fighting on small shows like someone at his stage should be. How much better is he than the NextGen guys we recently saw out? To me that's where he should be billed, not thrown onto a bill like this

As for women's boxing...a good fight is a good fight at the end of the day. I've no issue with watching Taylor fight so long as she's in competitive fights (which she isn't currently). One of the issues with women's boxing is that the talent pool is so much smaller. If she's in a good fight, I'm happy to watch.

Haye-Bellew was a poor card for sure. I'm not too bothered about this one personally though because the main event is excellent

 

3 olympians added to the undercard....hearns struggling with this one.

 

Absolutely pathetic undercard, especially when 50% of the fans there will be non-boxing fans just there to see Joshua. It's beyond depressing to think how this might turn out. Three Olympians KOing three bums totally out of their depth, Katie Taylor, Quigg dishing out a one sided beating and then potentially a rapid KO blowout in the main event.

 

I keep telling people about this. It's down to KLITSCHKO that this undercard is terrible.

He has a well known reputation in the past for not wanting to spend on his undercards, this isn't just aimed at what the undercard is for this upcoming fight. The undercards are always agreed between the fighters, Frampton and Quigg didn't want to spend any money on their undercard and Hearn says that's one of the reasons the fight done low numbers.

Hearn and Joshua spent a million on the undercard of AJ/Molina which is half of the reason why it done big numbers. If they are not doing the same again this time they it's definitely down to Wlads side.

 

if you look at his stable, I can't see who of any note he can actually add. All his middle of the road guys are either fighting on other bills or injured. His main guys have already recently fought.

Someone suggest a name which he could add

 

Should have just canned all the Olympians in squash matches and put Murray-Rosado on here. Pretty sure he can afford it, they are selling 90k seats ffs.

 

That would have been a decent addition actually. I've 0 interest in some poxy one sided 6 rounders

 

Was never going to be a major undercard as klitschko and Joshua will be getting very well paid for this...

A stellar undercard would be a drain on their purses..
