This in my opinion, would be in everyone’s best interests. Will it happen? I doubt it.

Hearn would then have to put Joshua in a keep busy fight next Spring- not ideal if you are shopping for a new TV deal with Sky/DAZN. Unlikely to happen.

In recent memory I can’t remember a fighter of any note taking step aside money. I may be missing a glaring example however.

I think GGG did for Canelo v Cotto only for Canelo to dump the belt and run for hills.

Hearn already said AJ isn’t interested. Although I get the logic and a wind over someone decent but beatable could give AJ some confidence.

Deep down they all know that Usyk probably beats Joshua 8/9 times out of ten and if they want the big British unification super fight, Tyson is gonna have squash the Ukrainian.

Yep with AJ moving to DAZN they'll need him in a big fight next to get more subscribers signed up so stepping aside would seem like the last thing AJ/Eddie/DAZN would do under the circumstances.

Is he definitely moving to DAZN UK or still fighting on Sky Box Office?

Dunno it's all a bit unclear, I heard he was moving to DAZN but that his fights would still be on Sky Box Office which sounds a bit contradictory you'd think the big money is still fighting on Sky but he's supposedly signed a contract with DAZN so how that plays out I'm not sure probably have to wait a while before things get clearer.

Listening to the Sky side recently it seems as if they are planning for life without Joshua. The relationship with Matchroom seems rather strained now.

That said he is a massive draw so anything sp could happen. Plus I’m not sure how DAZN would make the Joshua fights work without PPV.

Should DAZN go PPV - it could be Game Over
