You think Joshua beats Wilder now? If they really believed that money grabbing Hearne would be fastracking him down the WBC route in order to get the winner of Stiverne v Wilder if that happens. Your saying Wilder is chinny, Joshua's chin hasnt been tested yet and i seem to remember him getting rocked by Savons jab with the headgaurd on. I like Big Josh but everyone is going way over the top about him and Callum Smith atm and need to get some perspective.
I'd favour Joshua. Wilder's been dropped by total scrubs, and Joshua would be the best opponent he's fought by far. Airich would be up there with Wilders best wins. Saying that, I would give him a punchers chance against anyone in the HW division just due to his size, speed and power
The Dillain White fight was years ago and when put into perspective compared to the amount of boxing experience he had then and has now, as well as the progress he has made in that time, it's pretty irrelevant. Especially when you consider White has been banned for PEDs. Whilst I would favour him over Wilder now, I am not saying he would be a sure thing, he'd be a slight favourite in my book. To say he won't be ready for Wilder until 2016 is ridiculous, Wilder will have 2 or 3 knockout losses by 2016. He'll have one in 2014 if the Stiverne fight happens this year. Anyway, I do think Joshua needs a lot of improvement, but his physical attributes make him a challenge for nearly anyone in the division. That doesn't mean he should fight them or would win though.
True. The perspective on Callum was showed when Andre Dirrell stopped his last opponent in 5 rounds. Talk of Chisora,Wilder, etc is surely premature. But there must be better opponents than Airich for him now. He beat better men as an amateur. Id say somebody like Kevin Johnson might be a calculated risk,as despite being a good boxer with experience,he'd look at Joshuas size and possibly be wary of his power once he felt it. Almost certain to go rounds,if not the distance. An 8 rounder?
Think whytes ban is up soon. Would be a good marketable fight for Hearn with the history and good test for Joshua.
