Joyce is no longer being trained by Salas. Not sure if Haye is still involved now, but with Eddie constantly trying to get him on Matchroom shows it looks like a split from Haye might be looming.

I said previously Haye should not have gone in as a promoter, but a manager. He doesn’t have the clout. He lost Hutchison and now most likely will lose Joyce.

Personally I thought Salas was good for Joyce.

On another note, Salas has taken Ls this year. Left long-term student Linares on the eve of his camp for Lomachenko to train a finished Haye to a KO defeat and subsequent retirement, and now has lost Joyce.

Salas clearly had his eye on the big payday with Joshua if Haye had managed to KO Bellew.

Looks like Salas is retiring from boxing but I think there’s more to this.

Anyone else quite glad about this?

Don't know what Joyce's view on him was but always looked quite uncomfortable when Salas had videos on Instagram of him throwing combo's to salsa music with Salas walking off with a "Woo!".

Interested to see what Eddie or Frank with a new trainer might do for him.

    This is unprofessional.

Letting your trainer lapse without one lined up to take over immediately.

Introducing a gap in your fighting schedule when you are getting on in years, like Joyce.

Potentially missing out on a date against a decent name because of this!

Maybe being a trainer will make him behave like a normal person

Will the new trainer be happy with the hat? That's the real question nobody seems to want to address...

I think this would be a great move for Haye. Forget the promoting and become a trainer. Be a great move for Joyce if he’s signing with Hearn too.

David Haye would get injured just working the pads. And his ego is too huge to be a trainer.

    Booth, maybe P Fury.

    Avoid Penfold.

Would Joe G even be in the running.
Joyce's style would marry up well with Joe imo
