Wlad had every punch in the book AND you could make a case for him being the heavy with the overall heaviest hands ever. Wlad would murder a guy like him.

Wlad had big power but I genuinely believe Joyce would take it. I’ve never seen a chin like it in my time watching boxing. I rate him but during the majority of his reign he was a bully that dominated euro bums and small men. A 6’6, 19 stone, iron chinned, 12 round fit, big punching Joyce is all wrong for the timid Wlad. He would have shat his dacks

 

Wlad is top 3 of all time with the left hook, jab, right cross. This isn't Joseph Parker that we're talking about. The man has triple the knockouts that Joyce has fights, possibly more.

The guy is right. Klitschko would crap his pants against Joyce.

 

And pretty much all against crap opponents. His marquee win is arguably David Haye in a stinker ffs. His fanboys have to resort to bigging up wins against the likes of Chris Byrd, Povetkin (in one of the most disgraceful displays of all time), Pudding Pulev etc.

 

I was at work last night and just watched the full broadcast from BT Sport Box Office. On paper, the event looked really good in advance, but I have to admit that I was a little disappointed.

Apart from the first and last fight, it was a bit below average compared to it being a PPV event.

Having said that, I was really impressed with Joe Joyce. He broke Parker down consistently and never gave him time or space. It is a shame that Joyce is not 5 years younger.

With the victory yesterday, he announced his arrival among the big names in the heavyweight division.

And? He's one of the hardest punchers to live. Let's see Joyce in there with someone with world class power before we get carried away.
