he needs to fight a HOF boxer to get respect and a ticket to the hall of fame...sadly despite being dominate wladimir has not getting enough credit because no one passed the torch to him inside the ring

Great potential, but at this early stage, I don't think the talent is great down around 122-126. He'll need some stars down there to cement some massive victories. I know Vasquez and Marquez are there, but they're war-torn and only getting older.

    I'm with you on this.
Too early to tell. Looked spectaculor against De Leon but Penalosa made him look desperate at times and too willing to exchange in pointless battles.

The one thing I would worry about is his ability to go the distance as he matures if he can't blast boxers out within the first couple of rounds.

But as to now, great boxer.

Marquez is good at lightweight, but I doubt if he can fight higher.

eh idk, I've seen some of his fights and his opponents seem like.....bitches. Put him in with some better opponents and then we can see where he's at

I actually think he's lacking in speed and a bit too plodding. He seems to be a genuine puncher, though.

The kid has the goods to be an ATG. He just needs to pad up the resume.

Guys, I also really like Juanma's style and power but frankly, he is overrated. Many people say he is the new Trinidad and he is the future p4p no. 1, but I just don't see the speed, the accuracy, the defence there. I think he is pretty one-sided too. IMO Marquez, Vasquez, Caballero, Chris John would all beat him.

Of course he is very young so he has time to develop his skills, and 5 years ago I would have never thought Pacquiao would be p4p no. 1. So who knows. Still, my impression is that a defensive, quick and skilled fighter will school him.
