I very much doubt this is true, but these are the fights we should be encouraging our lads to take. We all moaned about Calzaghe taking easy defence after easy defence, and Hatton was slated for taking on Lazcano in his first fight after a loss. Why shouldn't Burns face Lopez if the fight can be made? I'm not sure he is capable of winning, but then again I had predicated Martinez would thrash him after a crappy points win over the average O'Hara. If he loses, move up to 135 and get back in there.
