    I agree with this.

I think we should atleast pretend that the WBO title and the British title are different things...

Burns will have the reach advantage and lopez does kinda depend on his power a bit so a step up could nullify him a bit further and the home support would deffo help if it was done over here but I reckon it would have to happen in vegas

Ken Buchanan went out there and won. Juanma is a classy fighter but if Burns fights smart he would have a chance.

Its not as one sided as people think. Burns is a huge Super Feather and Lopez is not a big featherweight. Lopez can also be hurt.

Burns is huge BUT Burns can be hurt lets be honest he was on a knife edge all the Martinez fight though cracking performance overall.

Juanma can be hurt but Burns isnt the man to hurt him

I like the sound of this! Juanma can collect his 3rd WBO title and can hence become a 3-weight champion!

Doubt if this is true but if the fight is made with a $3 million pot Burns would be crazy to turn it down.

Boxing is a short career and its unlikely he would ever get the chance of a real big money fight again.

Sure he would be a huge underdog but who cares, even a loss against an opponent like Juanma (as long as it wasn't an early demolition job) would raise Ricky's profile and would likely get him another big fight somewhere.

Take the fight Ricky if you get the chance.

Lopez can be hurt but getting him out of there is a completely diffenent thing. He has good recovery powers and although he can be hurt he looks extraordinarily hard to finish off.

Only difference being Ken was a little special compared to Burns. And that's no disrespect to Ricky.

Exactly. And Scotland has its best man on the job!

Seriously, Juanma can be exploited. I dunno how you will do it, but I'm guessing you will be targeting his balance and his tendency to lunge in with shots.

With a guy who can box like Burns I think these are two weaknesses he can exploit.

If you need help with footage, I have a lot of Juanma fights on DVD.

I'd still like to see the fight.

But to put it bluntly, Brian Magee has more of a chance of beating Lucian Bute than Burns has of beating Gamboa.
