When and if they ever fight, one of them will have their first professional loss. Do you think it's going to hamper their potential earnings in the future because the have a loss?

Do you believe that both of these fighters will continue to go up to 130, 135, 140, 147 and beyond or will stay in their 120's?

Depends on the manner of defeat and how well they bounce back from it. Sure, keeping your 0 can only be a good thing when it comes to earnings but pretty much every fighter gets beaten at some point and plenty of guys seem to do very well financially despite having a loss on their record.

As for moving up? I can see Lopez successfully going up a couple of divisions with that frame of his. And Gamboa, well, he's pretty musclebound already and he's fighting at featherweight... I'm sure he can go up a division or 2 as well but it might not suit him as much as it does Juanma.

Will be a sick fight when it happens, one of the best matchups you can make in the sport right now. Both are exciting, both got speed and power, both have their vulnerabilities too. Shame it doesn't look like it's gonna be happening any time soon.

Neither is big enough, skilled enough or has chin enough to go beyond JLW, imho. Unless LW is very weak at the time (a genuine possibility) JuanMa and Gamboa would get wiped out at 135.

the others are possible, but i doubt they go past 130, and continue being top fighters

gamboa is way to small for 140 and possibly 135, he should stay at 126 to 130, gamboa said himself the higher he sees himself ever going is 135
