No,but he was world champ at the time,then after the defeats won another world title,so he was definiately NOT past it.

Graham , the man that both Eubank and Benn ducked. He was the first fighter from the Ingle gym to get to world level , just didnt have the chin.

Umm, no he wasn't. Not in the rematch anyway, which is the fight I was talking about.

Either way, Jackson was half blind by that point in his career. Had been in a lot of hard fights and was 33 in the first Mcclellan fight. Put your bias aside, son.

 

Jackson's power didn't help either.

 

Against Cardamone? Have you seen that ****ing fight?

 

Chin wasn't terrible, but he had appalling sense of tactics. When in the first fight with Kalambay he abandoned his usual elusive style and tried to go after him which cost him on points. In the McCallum fight he wasted too many rounds posing and not throwing punches, which again cost him the decision and against Jackson he had Jackson's eye closed and was outboxing him easily and suddenly decided to go after him and paid the price.

 

He was spectacular. Could be the best one punch knockout puncher in the history of boxing. He was a little robotic in skills, but the way he found that clean punch and his patience to time it was amazing. A legit one punch knockout legend.
