No. Maliganni beats him. Witter is a banger and he has a great chin. But he is sloppy and he has **** stamina. Paulie took hell from Cotto and survived, he is slick and fast. Witter would struggle to land a big shot and his workrate would see him lose a wide UD.

He needs to fight aggressive fighters where he can rely upon his great raw gifts, power, chin and decent hand speed.

Agreed. Witter's performance was impressive, but I still think Pauli beats him.:yep

Since when does getting the **** beat outta you and your Jaw broken ever an indicator of someone beating someone else?

Yes, very true. All it showed was that paulie is tough as nails and not just a pretty boy.

Witter is happy to go to New York but presumably would expect 60/40 for doing so

Have to agree with JoseFm on that statement. I mean all that Paulie proved that he could take a good hiding i mean everybody who fought a prime tyson and alsted more than 5 rounds showed they could take an hiding but they could not beat the other world champs.

It means hes proved he can take an ass kicking by someone who hits harder than Witter and is even in a higher weight class destroying high level opposition(Cotto).

This means hell most likely be able to handle Witters punch making this a much more competitve match than the Harris fihgt. In other words, we know they cant hurt each other, so who will win the boxing match?

It means a lot in this case. Seeing as I have watched about 20 of Witters fights and I am a fan of his, there is clearly no bias here.
The fact is that Witter has a **** output in fights, he does not throw a lot of leather and is sloppy.

Because Paulie took the beating he did off Cotto it shows he has a good chin and real grit. Thus if Witter lands a big shot he is unlikely to KO Paulie with one punch and yet Paulie will land at will in every round, because Junior is sloppy and wide open and Junior will put far less output per round...

    Thus he loses by UD.
