Yup. Hence the reaspn why iv said before Saku could be the first high profile death or major injury in MMA. I knew about this injury from a while back as a i read it somewhere else. But since then iv always wondered "how" he's been able to fight as the damage is/was permanent. May be he had it operated on and sorted i dont know. But either way he's taken some serious punishment to his body over the years.
I read a rumor he may be on the Dynamite show. Here's the link: http://www.headkicklegend.com/2010/...-dynamite-2010-card-starting-to-come-together
At least Ishii isn't likely to knock him out. I wouldn't put it past Sak subbing him to be honest, Ishii has underwhelmed.
The dudes had 3 fights. One against one of the best Judoka's in MMA and the other against one of the most experienced submission grapplers in Japanese MMA. The kids been thrown in the deep. Its pretty clear his Judo background is solid but he has ALOT to learn.
As shot as Saku is he'll probably pull out a sub or KO him on the mat. Ishii will probably look for top control but he doesnt have the experience or subs to keep up or the striking to keep Saku honest. Interesting fight nonetheless.
why the hell wanderlei up there hes got a lot of fight left in him, probly not a title contencer yet but give it time
