Firstly thought Khan won, and fairly clearly even though 117-111 was being generous to Khan, but 115-113 was fine, even 116-112 wasn't ridiculous.

What surprised me most was Algieri. He really is a lot better than I thought he was.
I was one of the people who thought Khan would win every round in a lopsided fight.

Kudos to Chris! Maybe he did just need to be left out of his cage all along!

Khan made Algieri look good. As much as I like come forward fighters, there's nothing special about Algieri, except perhaps a few not-so-rare qualities as stamina, persistence etc. If Provodnikov was an American or Algieri didn't have a 0 to be protected, he'd lose that fight too and we'd never even hear his name again. He made a small fortune with his last 2 fights, I hope he becomes successful in life, but this is even farther than as far as he could go. He can be a nice come-back opponent for the Broner/Porter loser, but that's about it.

Algieri is not a come-forward fighter by nature. I do think he is a good fighter, also have no real problem with a 7-5 score for Khan (anything 7-5 to 5-7 is fine IMO it was a close fight)

But hopefully any talk of Floyd-Khan ends. Floyd isn't a huge puncher either, but he is more accurate and sharper with his shots.. and I doubt Khan sees the 6th round against Floyd, it would be lopsided.

If he had had JDJ for his trainer for the past 3 fights, he might have given PAC a run, and would almost certainly have beat Khan easily IMO.

If he came out of the cage earlier against Pac he would of got knocked out:lol:

Difference why he could fight like that against khan is because he doesn't punch nowhere as near as hard as pac

He just lost to khan, who you described as a 'glass jawed joke, disgrace, bum' when it looked like he might fight floyd, so how can he be any good? You're being a hypocrite again.
