Itauma mostly fights off the backfoot makes the overrated plodding brawler miss and pieces him up to absolute pieces from start to finish.

Good to know I never seen any amateur fight's. I can't wait to see his return fight. I'm not a fan of Itauma vs Hrgovic that's the worst matchup possible for Hrgovic you literally taking the slowest puncher vs a super fast puncher. It would stylistically be awful and not very exciting to watch.
Hrgovic vs Zhang or Fury or Bakole or Joyce would be much better...he needs to stick to be slow hittable targets. His team should know his limitations. Hrgovic is easily discouraged he would be contemplating retirement after a match with Itauma. That's not really what i want either..

Remember Huni got rocked multiple times against Lerena.

Yeah, I can see the argument. Hrgovic wouldn't have a good night, but he has a cast-iron chin and high output, and he would give Itauma rounds. It'd be interesting to see how Itauma reacts once he gets past the 7th round. Looking through the rankings, Hrgovic is probably one of the only names at the moment who could do that. He's fighting Allen next, which will be an easy walk in the park, and probably a nice bit of cash too, maybe after that he could get himself a Itauma fight, which I am sure will pay well.

I saw Franklin land a few nice Right Hooks. Got any idea who might be an excellent heavyweight with some steam with a right hook?
I do think that's the punch that could cause him some really issues in the future.
I can't think of a BIG TIME right hook artist.

Itauma will be open to other shots as well other than the right hook and the jab - as we find out with better opposition as flaws start to show.

Zhang knocked Joyce and Wilder out with right hooks.

Itauma was blowing a bit vs Franklin.

The high workrate and consistent body punching from Kabayel would be a bit of a nightmare for Itauma I think.

Itauma is more talented but I don't think Itauma is ready for what Kabayel brings.

Kabayel drowns him if they fought next. Decent lateral movement. Good body puncher. Takes a good shot good finisher decent power. Moses has the tools. He doesnt have the experience or learning fights needed to beat guys like kabayel now tho imo.

He,d survive the onslaught moses would put on him then takes him out.

What does that say for Dubois who got sat on his arse repeatedly by Lerena?

Huni’s chin is ok, better than average in fact. Does it stand up against Itauma? Maybe not. But Huni has the boxing chops to make Itauma miss and miss often. Huni needs to stick and move for 5-6 rounds and then we find out whether Itauma has a gas tank.

I’d tip Itauma but Huni presents real issues for him so an upset isn’t off the table.

As for Itauma vs Kabayel…this is a fight that Itauma just doesn’t need right now. It’s 50/50 at best. Give Moses another 3-4 fights and he probably goes in as favourite against Kabayel.

Dubois got rid of Lerena in 3 rounds, whereas Huni really struggled against Lerena - most thought it was a draw or Lerena won.

I feel Huni was Wardley's stylistic kryptonite still. Whereas, at the same time I feel Huni's style and defence would suit Itauma.

The fight Ituama needs is Hrgovic. He’s got the best chin in the division, he’s real high output for the first 5-6 rounds, and he’s got the most accurate right hand in the division. Also, he’s not going to shell up or back up, he’s going to take it right to Ituama.

and, most importantly, unlike Whyte or Franklin who came to take their L in exchange for a fat check, Hrgovic is going to come to win.

If Ituama can outclass Hrgovic and KO him, that’s a major statement.

Of course, Hrgovic will want a massive payday for the risk. He’s not stupid. He’s going to want 5mil+, because the loss will derail his current momentum and career a good bit.

if I were Ituama’s team, I’d consider giving Hrgovic most of the purse to make it happen, give my man the chance to make his statement and plant his flag.

Yeah, people are getting blinded by the speed, the fluidity, the crazy offense against cans who shell up and don't fight back.

Kabayel does the same thing to Itauma that he did to Zhang. He'll stick his head in Itauma's chest and make it an inside fight. Itauma has shown no ability to fight on the inside and he's never had an opponent take the fight to him. He's shown no ability to move laterally around the ring and evade a dedicated pressure fighter. All Itauma has ever shown is the ability to stand off from a C-tier guy and counter punch and then tee off when his opponent cowers and shells up on the ropes. Kabayel has an extremely high work rate and a great gas tank. If Itauma can't bang him out of there in the first few rounds, Kabayel overwhelms him in the back half and probably stops him.

People need to remember there are levels to boxing. The difference between a Jermaine Franklin and a guy like Kabayel is as wide as the Pacific ocean. And the difference between Kabayel and a guy like Usyk is wider still. That's why you bring guys up slow. So any talk of putting Itauma in with the top guys is silly at this point. He needs a Hrgovic or a Bakole. Even those guys would be a giant step up.
