    Khan has power?

  4. His power is about average to be honest. His main assest is his speed but nobody is comparing his power to the likes of Matthysee and Maidana, but it's not as weak as the likes of Bradley and Malgnaggi. Somewhere in the middle ground.

I think this is the first thread I've ever seen on Khan's power period.

He is not a massive puncher and does not have 1 punch knock out power but he does have reasonable power. He has actually scored a lot of knockdowns.

The Khan hating goes so far that people simply make things up to make him look bad now. No-one calls Khan a power puncher. If anything his power is underrated considering some on here call him feather-fisted. You don't knock someone as tough as Maidana if you can't punch. He's got mid-range power.

Its his speed that gets him knockdowns. The punches that hirt you the most are the ones you dont see coming

Khans bodyshot on maidana was brutal but he made maidana cover up his head before he threw it

I think Lamont Peterson might have summed Khan's power up quite well to be honest when he said that there's a sting to his punches but not a real hurt.

I think Khan's accumulation and flurries (when they land) is what does damage, as opposed to raw power. He does have a fair level of TKO's whether you rate him or not, being punched in the face hurts regardless of power.

    This

I don't think anyone thinks khan has power.:huh

He has speed and when he throws a good technique punch( instead of his flurries) his speed gives him some power.

As for a power puncher? No, more like a powder puncher.

Very few people rate Khan as a big puncher.

It's like saying "Victor Ortiz's intelligence is overrated"
