kahn vs rees!

i had from a very very reliable source yesterday that its happening in september. i dont think there is a better step up for kahn! a non super feather , young ex champion who can hit! it will be a good fight!

Rees is actually the right step for once. We saw the problems that Gomez caused stylistically, and Rees will bring a similar come forward style. However, he's younger and more durable.

An unusual source actually. A former school friends partner is friends with Stewart. Remember you heard it here first.

Okay, well I'm not making this up so we'll wait & see how accurate my source was. I'd much prefer a Gavin Rees match up.:good

Rees is a good step up for Khan but once again the guy can't punch.

It will be a good win for Khan if he can finish Rees quicker than Kotelnik.

 

what weight will it be at 140? or 135 heard rees might go back down?

 

It's a bit harsh to say Rees can't punch. He looks like Julian Jackson compared to some of Khan's opponents. Plus he's been fighting above what I'd call his natural weight, so he may be able to put a bit more hurt on lightweights.

 

I should imagine the fight will take place at lightweight. Rees was never a 140 fighter really.
