Not really seen anything mentioned about it on this board.

Not seen the fight but read the RBR in the general forum and people were saying it was one of the worse decisions this year.

Apparently Gonzalez stormed out of the ring when the result was revealed?

    Poorly promoted by Hearn.

He needs the Roman Gonzalez fight in Birmingham. I think he wins that and it adds to his reputation. Hearn struggles to sell tickets outside of London/Manchester though as his cards round here have always been poor.

The result was a disgrace. Gonzalez stormed out of the ring as soon as he heard it. Matthew Macklin was obviously trying to con the listeners into thinking it could be subjective, Johnny Nelson said post fight he lost, Joe G on DAZN apparently had it wide to Gonzalez. Kal Yafai was so embarrassed he had to admit he thought the cards were wide, he was nervously walking around the ring and looking over at the judges cards after the fight as he knew he lost. Eddie Hearn had a cold hard look on him post fight of a very guilty man. Gonzalez should be waking up a world champion this morning but he was robbed. This was in boxing terms 'a robbery'.

It was a shocking decision, by 5, 4 and 4 rounds to Yafai but you could see dodgy cards coming. Trying to win a decision on sky against a matchroom reminds me of going to Italy in the 90s. You have to knock them out to get a draw. It’s ruining the game.

It wasn't that bad FFS . Stop overdramatising. Yafai deserved it.

No he didn’t. We’ll hear your cries when Frampton loses on points against Warrington.

I think Yafai needs to move up a weight,I had the fight 7-5 for Yafai but would understand those who had 7-5 the other way.

He was outworked and outlanded. Macklin's commentary was embarrassing, kept talking about the real quality coming from Yafai, just after he had taken 6 punches and missed widely with a swinging right hand.

Bad decision imo. I felt Gonazales outworked him for large stretches of the fight. Yafai didn't look good at all.

I thought Yafai lost but the decision was not on the same scale as some robberies such as John McDonot v PED Fury or Beltran's rogering when he battered Burns and the result was a draw.
