he needs to keep going public and humiliate these fighters who won't fight him. bag the crap out of them until they cave and agree to fight him. it worked for david haye until he chickened out.
I hate to say it, but I tend to think that this is partially Meehan's fault. For so long he seemed to be content with just complaining occasionally in an interview every couple months when he should have been much more vocal and demanded a shot at Valuev. Ruiz has done that so many times now and managed to get countless mandatory positions and screw up other WBA fights as well by taking legal action. Meehan should have done the same. Not saying he is getting a fair shake by any means, because he hasn't, but he could have done more to enforce a title shot with Valuev or even a fight with a ranked contender.
he really needs to fight anyone, soon, regardless. I agree that it has been partly his fault - he has nearly missed his prime fighting years through inactivity.
I have never seen him on here that I recall. I wish he would though. Kali seems like a great guy, and I would love the chance to chat with the man.
