Michael Katsidis is willing to fight anybody. He is even willing to move to 154.

Many ringside observers felt WBA no. 1 and IBF no. 5 ranked middleweight Anthony “The Man” Mundine (38-3, 23 KOs) put in one of his best performances for several years the other night when he outpointed Rob Medley (27-3, 17 KOs) at the Sydney International Arena and retained his WBA international title. The 34-year-old Mundine is now unbeaten in the last five years since he lost on points to Mikkel Kessler in 2005 and has won his last fourteen bouts. Although he is now pencilled in to take on Australian Contender winner Garth Wood in his next fight, WBO interim lightweight champion Micheal Katsidis contacted Fightnews and challenged Mundine to an all-Australian super-fight at 154 pounds.

How do you think Katsidis would be at 154 against a naturally bigger man than him ?

I think Katsidis gets knocked out agaisnt Mundine unless Mundine was totally gone at the weight.

Katsidis hasnt got the style to go up in weight and i would rather see him fight Marquez, Valero, Funeka or Mitchell anyway.

Katsidis can KO Mundine but this is a joke fight and should not be made. Mundine needs to retire and stop embarrassing the sport. He is almost as bad as Lucian 'I won't fight anyone' Bute.

Exactly. Bute didn't want to enter, on the Showtime version of 24/7 his name is clearly visible on one of the spreadsheet/flipboard things. It's he who didn't want to enter.

Still, his win over Andrade was very impressive, lets hope he does end up using his obvious talent to fight 'the best', though he'll probably be stuck with the loser of Gren/Bika or 'I only want easy fights' Pavlik

Why would he choose to enter and risk his standing as 2010's Joe Calzaghe? Would JC of entered post Eubank?

He'll wait for the tournament winner to emerge and then challenge them.

2010's Calzaghe is Floyd. Absolute joker if he fights Campbell.

That is ******ed Jeff and you know it. No way will Bute challenge the winner of Super 6. He will probably challenge the winner of season 2 the contender and consider that a huge risk.

Kats-Mundine is another Tua-Cameron, a big fight in the Antipodes but not very meaningful in world terms.

Lets hope this fight wont be made....however if it did....Mundine would be drained at 154 but would still have enough speed to box on the outside and enough evasion to win by points

bute, mundine and katsidis are all world class and none of them embarrass the sport. That said this fight shouldn't be made.
