Katsidis doesn't get points for landing on gloves all night. Not many clean punches from him at all. His outside game was not there from the opening bell. All he relied on was getting Burns to the ropes......And he hit elbows and gloves most of the time. He won some rounds, sure. Burns boxed him well, threw good body punches, and landed some good uppercuts. To have Katsidis winning is laughable.
maccarinelli's scoring was a joke.i watched the fight without the sound after 6 rounds.try it yourselves.no way did burns run away with it the way they had it.absolute bull**** hometown decision.
it was not that wide. I believe it was a close decision. But if i had to pick a winner it would definitely be Burns
Or maybe you are blind. Thats a shocking scorecard. 115-113 Burns is the closest anybody could of had it imo. I agree on the other fight though, no way was it a draw.
I hope your trolling. Burns won the first 4 rounds on my card. You can argue that Katsidis may of won the fourth, but the first three were definitly Burns rounds.
Burns is going to get the benefit of the doubt in close rounds, just like Mick would have if he was fighting at home. Picked it up in the mid rounds...but if the consensus was that Katsidas dropped majority of the early rounds then I can't see how there can be cries of robbery. But Ill have to watch it all the way through before I post a scorecard.
Im biased but it doesn't mean it wasn't at worst 7-5.We all know it. Katsidis knew before the scores.:good
I wanted Kats to win . . . . badly. but all in all Burns won that fight 7-5 for me although the scores were too wide and the ref was being a ***** with that binding on the gloves
