i've watched it again-sound off-and i stand corrected.with the best will in the world,i score it 7-5 katsidis(115-113)either way,i think he got turned over.
i dunno how u win that wide when you get out worked, out punched and have no power whatsoever on your shots..Burns would get dominated by Robert Guerrero..
Lay off the drink, Burns never looked like losing thats unless you score ineffective aggression and shots to the elbows and gloves, why are people so drawn in by the illusion of ineffective work rate. 7-5 is the kindest i can be for Katsidis and thats being generous.
I'm a big fans of Kats, and predicted a victory for him, but he was nowhere near winning that fight at any stage.
mk was a shell of the fighter he once was,yet still did more to win the fight than the cagey burns.burns is a nice kid,but if and when they put him in with a genuine top 5 player he's gonna get his ass handed to him on a plate and no mistake.
just watched the gauthier/molitor fight.very similar to burns/katsidis with the same result.only in canada,the crowd chanted 'bulls***,whereas in england,the 'victor' was said to have given a boxing masterclass...
