Good fight, but didn't really live up the expectations. Katsidis didn't go to war enough, and he was out hussled and out jabbed for the majority of the fight. Should have been a UD if anything.

I thought it was a very good, entertaining fight. They can't all be like Casa/Kat, Margo/Cotto, Marquez/Vasquez. I wouldn't call it a great fight, but the friends I told to watch it probably weren't disappointed.

Good action, not great action like I had anticipated. Katsidis approached the fight more cautiously this time and i actually think that cost him. Anyways I was a bit disappointed, it didn't live up to the hype. Only round 12 had decent action

Diaz looked really good though I have to say, did everything right and made no mistakes. Props to him there. Katsidis just couldnt find a way to be effective, Diaz neutralized him

Becasue Katsidis is a limited fighter, and when range against a prime skilled fighter, you can bet it would be a one-sided fight, in favor of his opponent.:yep

I think Diaz prevented the war with his jab, D and footwork.

It looked like Diaz is in a different class.

This is so true. Katsidis is game, but basically a poor man's Arturo Gatti.

But not quite at the level that people expected going into it. There were plenty of moments during that fight when Katsidis was tactically outscoring and outboxing Diaz. Getting taken to school is like Wright/Trinidad. That's school. Diaz was supposed to outbox Katsidis, he narrowly did so by Juan Diaz standards.

Put JMM or Pac against Diaz, and it would be a war.

Kats is basically limited to engage and be effective versus someone as skilled as Diaz, and Diaz is not even that skilled compare to JMM.
