Lozada is a journeyman. I can't believe Kats went 3 rounds with him to be honest.

Katsidis looked very much in 1st gear there so dont know how much you can draw from that. Nice to see him ina fight where he wasnt taking too much punishment for once.

Michael sometimes seems to be doing to much thinking and moving then he really should. I like that he's thinking but his natural instincts is to fight. He seems to second guess himself or not react to a short jab etc. He seems to want to do things perfectly which is nice but get the job done firstly. I like what Smith has done with him to a point. I just wanna see a more straighter right hand and less text book hook. The hook against JMM was perfect but for the most part he over turns the knuckle part of glove for me and loses the full power. He's spiteful puncher.

Good display but against a joke fighter he did what he had to do.

    This.

    Seemed a rushjob fight/promotion.

Still wonder why it was on the Gold Coast (someone told me...bad memory)

    Aussie ref = Joke.

Too busy wondering if Loz understood English to notice his tits are held up with his shorts.

Hope he has a big fight after this, someone like Rios/Mitchell would make perfect sense.

Why did they get this guy in? He's complete and utter shite.

I respect what fighters do, but wtf was with the turning and looking at the ref. He did that in the Malignaggi fight as well.

Waste of time. Expected Katsidis to take him out in a round, really.

They just wanted someone to look good against. Shed some rust and gain some confidence off as well as making sure he wins.

Anyone else i'd of moaned but Mickey deserves a soft touch for once. I think the Earl fight was a downright disgrace but this was just **** but a understandable move.

    Yeah, seems so.

Lozada is just one weird fighter. I've got him on Facebook and the week leading up to the fight, it was more of a holiday for him than a fight trip.

The Paulie stoppage was bull**** to be fair.

He was just stood there letting him tee off, after about 30 unanswered shots that did no damage the ref just jumped in.

I think Katsidis is coming to the end personally, the Marquez fight ****ed him. Put everything into it and was still dominated and stopped. I remember around the time of the Casa fight it seemed like he was being groomed to be a long term linear 135lb champion to beat all comers.

Shame it never really happened for him.
