Only saw him against Hopkins where I thought he was pretty hopeless, that might have something to do with Bernard of course.
I know he beat a one handed Ritchie Woodhall in 12.

No hes a Don King manufactured contender/champion to fill up boring Showtime cards. Hes a slightly above average fighter like most of them you have started threads on.

He was a solid titlist...technically better then Joppy but overall probably not a hell of a lot better. He just didnt have much in his kit...couldnt really in-fight, had a good jab but a so-so left. Rangey southpaw, really just a standup stylist with a little bit of athletic ability.

Seen his fight with McCracken, Toygonbev (whatever it is) and the rematch with Cherifi ...I havent seen his fight with Woodhall which is apparently his signature win..Im sure some British posters could share some more light on that one.

I think thats an underrated win for Hops, it was a comprehensive performance. He mugged Keith on the inside and owned him on the outside...but perhaps tells the story of the division at the time that Keith was one of Nard's main rivals and was a champion for so long.
