Judging by his resume, and the only fight I ever saw him in verses Brandon Hoskins, He has power. He has dominated most opponents up to date, and while I do agree, Thurman-Lora is not an HBO fight, More like ESPN. It is a nice step up for Thurman verses a notable veteran. Who is likely most known for being dominated by Paulie Malignaggi on Hopkins-Dawson 1 PPV. But he did rock Malignaggi late in RD 1 actually so you can say he may also check Thurmans chin. Lora holds his most notable win to Fabio Medina ( 20-1-2 ) who funny to say was also stopped by Thurman a few fights later. Lora stopped him in 7, Thurman in 4. But thats really the only relation. After this maybe HBO will try and get Thurman-Maidana back on, Would be great fight. Shame it was cancelled. Anyways back to the point, What do you think of Thurman? Hype or substance?
