Really honest interview with Dom Ingle on the BBC podcast. Basically said that Kell did not live the life between camps and had bad influences around him. Said overall it was a stop start career

Kell could be like an Apollo Creed figure to Khan if he fights on

Solid career but a case of what might have been. A combination of poor choices, bad luck and bad advise probably held him back. When he beat Porter it was all there for him. The Golovkin fight was utter madness as he was up against a completely dominant champion - but two weight divisions higher. Then to come straight back down and face Spence was ridiculous. Especially as he was known to take his foot off the gas after fights. I’m convinced he would have won that fight with the right camp and not having come down from 160 back to 147.

Ultra talented, with every shot in the book and technically superb. His understanding of range was elite. I still don’t think enough people realise how good he could have been. Personally I always thought Brook just wanted to make a few quid, which is fair enough. His three loses are all against guys who are still on P4P list now and I believe outcomes could have been different if he fought them in more favourable situations. Glad he went out on top against Khan as he would have beaten any version of Khan right through. It was a bright spark in what had been a pretty sad and directionless last 4-5 years of his career. Probably a overly negative post but I just feel he could have done so much more.

yeah that's why he never properly campaigned at 154lbs which he should've done, he didn't wanna lessen his paydays from the glamour 147 division.

His career never really took off due to him not been hearns main focus but his made some great money and leaves a what if he had a good manager and promoter and didn't get thrown to the wolves and what if his looked after his self more inbetween fights and didn't pile the weight on

Considering coming back. He has been training for two weeks and has been sparring. He has been offered Liam Smith and winner of Eubank vs Benn.

    Time stamped.

I'd say he was poorly managed. Could have made alot more money and had a lot more success than he did.

Might as well take them. I reckon he's got very little chance of beating beefy but if he gets to fight the winner of Eubank/Benn regardless, then why not? Good money fights.

Risking another broken face or worse. I reckon he will box again and lose.
