    I think its because when he finally got a title in a pretty big US win he went and got himself stabbed shortly afterwards so had to take time out.

    Yes because he's only fought twice in the US. Khan is based there.

    Everyone talks about Khan as he is a 'name' in the US and is seen as beatable easily with his suspect defence / chin

    No-one talks about Kell as they know he would knock them the funk out!

    Kell has only just entered the world platform plus headlined stateside.

    Khan's been up there for years and is a big name... big name + established = $$$$$$ that's why Khan draws the interest.

    Khan saw his value and got in with golden boy who made him into an even bigger star. Brook needs to do the same if he has any chance of being a name in the states

    The only thing they've seen of Kell is that he can take a pasting from a guy on a knockout run and not go down, and that he can outpunch, outmuscle and outbox a guy who thrashed Khan's next opponent. A guy like Thurman is bound to be licking his lips thinking about a Khan fight, in his mind it's a guaranteed win. Brook is a big welter with a punch and a fantastic jab. Maybe would think he's more of a threat.
