I think signing for the Hattons would be a good move, he may try and do a Macklin though and see if he can sign with GBP
One of two reasons this has happened. 1) Brook is fed up on fighting afrobums. He thinks he should be moving along faster than what he is, and is fed up of warren holding him back Or 2) Warren has seen flaws in him and feels he will get exposed at world level. This is why he doesn't want to re sign him. Either way, it doesn't help Kell at all. He has ranked up a good record against nobodies, but it has still put him in line for an eliminator. Personally I would love him to sign for the Hattons. Brook vs Matty would be a pretty big fight, one which could propel either fighter onwards.
warrens high on brook it wasnt till recently he offered khan a 6 digit figure to come back to the UK to fight him. he also mentioned getting mike jones in the ring with him
i expected him to be in a good fight on may 21st shame if one isn't sorted by then maybe the best option is to leave and go with the hattons, he's putting together a decent stable
Frank Warren offering people fights and actually wanting to bring them over is a completely different thing.
Why not? Brook has power but Matty has proven he can take a shot at a higher weight. Brook makes silly mistakes which Hatton could take advantage of. It's a very winnable fight for him even tho I'd pick Brook personally.
Ricky Hatton said on Bunce's show last Thursday he had a title shot lined up for Matthew he could announce in two or three weeks, as much as I'd love it to be Brook, I can't see it.
Brook/Hatton would actually be very interesting. Brook would try to walk to him and i think Mathew would be able to take his shots and catch him in return as Brook is as stiff as a board. If Hatton fought a great fight he might be able to steal enough rounds.
hatton - brook should be were there looking , we really have no idea how good or bad brook is lets be honest that fight would tell us alot either way and would be a "genuine" push up the rankings for the victor
you honestly believe hatton has a chance against brook...just because he went the distance with the slow plodder that is alvarez, come on bro brook is alot faster and levels ahead of alvarez in terms of boxing ability, alot harder to hit and has good reactions..magic matt has no chance against special K
