I should have said most people, because I know there were a few backing brook but the majority thought he was overprotected hype job.
Yeah he did look nervous. I knew he had the ability, but I thought on a stage of that magnitude with the hype surrounding porter, that nerves would get the best of him and end up withdrawing into himself during the fight, but he showed absolutely no fear and calmly dispatched of that overrate ped brute.
Honestly, that's what I found so impressive. I had serious doubts that might not be able to hold it all together under the weight of all that pressure, but he stood strong and proved so many of his doubters wrong. I'm really pleased for him.
For the amount of combination work he does offensively? No. For a super-aggressive boxer-puncher who can lead or counter (and is never really found doing neither) depending on what the opponent is offering, his defense is just fine.
