An exciting prospect. Good speed, power. Skills on the inside. And an improving defence.

How highly does everyone rate him?

He's young and time is on his side. Great prospect. Jack, I take it you don't manage fighters! :)

He's 20 years old mate. Only a fool would rush a kid with his potential.

Hes still very raw. He will continue to develop fighting stiffs. Great management.

You can't throw him in the deep end, because he will loose now. And it would damage him big time.

If he keeps winning, a few years time, hopefully he can do the job on the world stage.

I agree with the majority of guys here in that he is just 20.

But you can see where Jack is comin from whether u like it or not.
Foley has to at least slightly raise the bar, which i think he has as it showed in him taking on James Chan.
I hope the gradual step up continues, otherwise it will only stunt his progression.

Not everyone is Wilfred Benitez. He's a kid, he'll get there eventually.

Yeah, putting the rush on a fighter too early can damage the rest of their career.
Lester Ellis won a commonwealth title, a world title and lost it all within 12 months, before he turned 20.
The rest of his career he had trouble getting up for anything that wasnt a title shot

I don't mean to blow my own horn and I know I will cop it from you guys but I fought Kerry as an amteur at 75kg and I beat quite easily and I am VERY VERY far from great.....I know he has improved since then but he may win an Aussie which unfortunately doesn't mean much these days but outside of that he wont do much.

Thats not to say I don't hope he does well cause he was a nice guy and maybe with the right trainers he may prove me wrong.

Both Lester & Lionel Rose received oportunities they couldn't afford to say no to at very early ages. In the long run it didn't do Lester much good, and whether it helped Lionel is probably also debatable.

Foley is travelling well and learning along the way. At 20 he's got time on his side. No need to push him along too hard for another year or so IMO.

    Do you still fight mate?

Also how do all of you know about the Foley fighter?
I would not have a clue about all those young fighters
