i live in denmark and chat with kessler occasionally.

the fact that you have to start a post about kessler after he gave up a high profile miranda fight to fall back into the european mold and mention the word "duck" as a FAN of his already tells us waht we need to know.

hell...even i can give mikkel a hard time about this to his face and, even though it annoys him, he tries to defend that point of view too

but he knows the deal just like calzaghe does with warren.

he'll be unified super middle champ in no time, his next fight is for WBA, then Froch as kess is mandatory WBC and i expect bute after that, id do that over fighting miranda who has already lost to abraham and pavlik with no belt on offer

the belt is exactly the reason mogens palle rejected the miranda fight even though miranda is possibly the highest profile fght kessler (had) on his plate - and with HBO backing.

belts have leverage but so does rep - and mikkel is sitting pretty in the super-middle's already so palle saying that miranda "isn't in kessler's league" is another way of saying 'too risky right now'.

and it is in relation to the fight they have taken.

Not his fault the Miranda fight didn't come off. His management ****ed it up.

Tbh, I wouldn't blame him anyway, why would he take the Miranda fight straight after coming off a loss? I think he'll fight him in the future anyway after he gets back to winning ways. Pantera will be exposed by Abraham anyway.

    maybe, maybe not.

abraham's fought pretty choice opposition and the first miranda win was debateable. this one isn't in germany too.

Strange this ducking buisness - how Palle went on to make a fight possible between Miranda and Kessler for the WBA-belt on HBO. Sadly Miranda had gotten other plans by then, but that doesn't change the fact that Palle was working on this even before the Showtime-deal fell through. That has been confirmed by the WBA. Very very strange behavier considering how afraid they are of the mighty Miranda!

But I guess that's boxing for you...

If Miranda beats Abraham (which I doubt) then he will proberbly become mandatory for the WBA-belt - then we'll see if Kessler is afraid of the migthy Miranda - as Kessler fights his mandatories.
