For all you ***gots who think Kessler is ducking anybody and the Calzaghe match was a fair match.. read this :

    http://www.teampalle.dk/composite-1638.htm

I take it you would fight Calzaghe again too right?

"Yea that´s my dream fight if he gave me the rematch. That was my one loss, and I´m not making an excuse so much as saying the truth about my hand. I hurt it real bad and couldn´t spar well, even one month after the fight. Everything was wrong. I´ve seen a lot of fighters get rematches but he did tell me he wanted to fight me again, and since that is my only loss, of course I want to show him I am a better fighter."

There was talk of you going against Miranda. What do you think happened there?

"I think there were contract issues, but in the end, I signed everything and we were getting ready with HBO, but Miranda didn´t sign nothing and now he is fighting for Showtime. To be honest I don´t know what happened, but I´m not afraid of him. People always e-mail me that I ran from him, but I never run from anybody, and I´ll fight him anywhere. I´m not afraid of any fighters at all."

The hand injury is no excuse for getting outclassed in the ring. Calzaghe's had hand injuries for years. It doesn't explain Kessler's inability to adapt to Calzaghe's unorthodox style.

Well i would love to see the outcome of a rematch between them, this time in Kessler's hometown and without his hand injury...

i fink the outcome would be the same except calzaghe wont need tym to figure out a counter style as he did in the first 4 rounds in there other fight.

that train's left the station. Calzaghe's pushing 37. Kessler won't get another shot at him.

In an interview 2 days before the fight for Setanta Kessler said his hands were fine. Immedietly after the fight on live TV he stated his hands were fine and there were no problems. Sound like excuses to me...

Plus isn't Joe Mr Glass Hands anyway?

Don't get me wrong I like Kessler but seems a bit like trying to salvage some pride.

Yeah, it's kind of disappointing. He was very classy in defeat. He should have stayed that way. He needs to be putting his energy into improving his performance in the ring and fighting more regularly, not dredging up a fight from the past.

He never said it was fine, thats fkn bs. It was known long before the match he had a damaged hand and because of that was unable to spare for 2 weeks etc. but its true Camp Kessler was playing down the report of the injury as they wouldnt jeopardise their man's appereance in his biggest fight so far, and on top of that he also had a big hand operation after the match just to clear out he's telling the truth.

So Bute and Hopkins should fight...they are the only ones in this story not to tough the canvas !

Hopkins would take him to prison. Bute is way too green for the old man. Let's keep Lucy at SMW anyway, I want to see The Viking beat him back to Bucharest.
