Acording to a danish newspaper, Kessler is sick and tired of waiting for Palle, to make a big fight, a lot of talk and no walk. It seems like they will break up, unfortunally Palle has the right to do the next 3 fights with Kessler, and said he will play it the hard way if so, he did that to Larsen. Palle is sucth a *******, he would,nt mind to destroy Kesslers carriere, greedy *******! :twisted::twisted::twisted:
So I guess this is a backwards way of admitting that other fighters really arent scared to fight the guy....Its a good thing for Kessler, it shows that he wants to fight big fights....Im just not sure that its real, it could be a way to take some heat off for not fighting top guys the next few outings.
I remember being jumped upon by Danish posters in 05 when I said that Palle was a ****. They defended that man like he was their only child FFS.
It is more like "Get me some super fights - NOW!" I believe Palle is trying, but he does not have the best net work and has a reputation as a difficult guy to like. In the end Mikkel just lost patience. We know that Palle has contacted Taylor, and HBO put pressure on Taylor to fight Kessler. Hennesey said that Palle offered Froch a fight when he won the belt and so on. Palle is trying, but Kessler is not happy with the fact that no big fight is lined up.
I can't help but think Kessler would be better off without Palle. Think Miranda/Showtime! Mikkel would be way ahead of where he is now if Palle hadn't ****ed that deal up.
Larsen lost three years of his prime because the wanted to get rid of Palle. It certainly didn't help him in the long run.
