Kessler spars Magee

    Brian Magee will be the next sparring-partner for Mikkel Kessler's preparations for the Calzaghe fight.

    Sparring starts monday and is supposed to last 2 weeks.
    Kessler's team seems pretty happy with landing this deal with Magee.

    An experienced southpaw who's been close to the top. Sounds good.

    Kessler will probably dominate Magee in sparring.

    Just saw a clip from kessler´s sparring with Thomas Povlsen. Povlsen certainly didn´t hold back!

    It was on danish national television an hour ago. Perhaps you can find it on www.dr.dk´s sports section...........

    I was meant to reply to this days ago.

    Magee. Oh dear.

    The guy just got beat by Tony Oakey, fighting at home (gifted a draw though). These days he likes to walk backwards throwing half-hearted shots. Incredibly slow these days too.

    That Danish bloke would have been a better sparring parter.
